When using the local space technique planets are seen in relationship to the horizon and you as the center. The planet lines are interms of  northward, southward, eastward or westward. The snapshot in time at the moment of your birth remains the same throughout the world, but the view alters depending on which location you are in. So, when you are in different locations it is necessary to have a different map for each location.       

        With this kind of  map you can see where energies are directed in a small area. You can see what side of your home is a good place to gardern, or have an office, etc.
